Silicone Rubber Heaters
Flexible, durable, and versatile, custom silicone rubber heaters are the industry standard for reliable heating. Commercial silicone rubber heaters consist of a metallic heating element laminated between two layers of fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber. Silicone rubber provides excellent thermomechanical properties and chemical resistance, while fiberglass provides superior mechanical strength and durability.

Wide Temperature Range
With an operating temperature range from -150F to +400F (-100C to +200C), silicone heaters are suitable for use from extreme cold to extreme hot conditions.
Chemical and Moisture Resistant
Resistant to many chemicals, including some acids, bases, peroxides, salts, and organics, silicone rubber is also moisture resistant.
Durable and Reliable
Silicone rubber provides excellent thermal and mechanical properties, while fiberglass provides superior mechanical strength and durability. Specialty grades of silicone, such as UL approved or Kevlar® reinforced, can provide added benefits. This is one of the many reasons silicone heaters are great heating sources.
